How site testing becomes the project record

From site testing to the final project record.

GridInFill follows one path: a project specification, the test recorded on site, the Office register, surveyed coordinates, and the surface comparison.

  1. 01

    Set the testing specification

Define the test types, grid spacing, lift thickness, acceptance limits and construction layers for the project. Specifications can be included in a Field project package. Specifications.

  2. 02

    Record the test in Field

Record the grid, construction layer, test type and result, including an original test and a retest. Field testing.

  3. 03

    Review the Office register

Office lists the test code, measurement, pass, fail, pending or retest outcome, and the survey position. Testing register.

  4. 04

    Review proposed RTK matches

Imported survey coordinates are proposed against the field records. The engineer reviews the evidence before a surveyed coordinate is applied. RTK matching.

  5. 05

    Estimate testing demand

Estimate testing requirements across construction layers and grid areas from the project surfaces and testing rules. Testing forecast.

  6. 06

    Compare the surfaces

Compare existing and proposed surfaces to calculate cut, fill and net earthworks volumes within the overlapping survey area. Cut and fill volumes.
